Southern Stars Music

Southern Stars groups are performance-oriented choirs that learn and perform extensive choreography with much of their music.  Our choirs have performed at Disney World (Orlando), with America Sings! (San Antonio), and at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (New York), as well as locally in Houston area locations like Old Town Spring and pre-show at the Alley Theater.  The choir has performed at various charity and community events, including the World's Largest Human Rainbow event sponsored by the United Way.

SOUTHERN STARS GIRLS CHOIR

The SSGC is for girls in grades 2 through 8.  Girls should attend summer day camp (usually 1 week in August), and must register no later than mid-September.   The SSGC rehearses 1 1/2 hours weekly during the school year.  Members are expected to make a full year commitment to the group (September through May). 

STARSHINE (SSGC ensemble) 

StarShine membership is by audition, and is for experienced SSGC members in grades 6 and above.  StarShine auditions are held at SSGC summer day camp in August (1 week).  StarShine members attend all SSGC rehearsals and also have two full Saturday rehearsals per semester.  There is no additional tuition.

Choir rehearsals are held in the Southern Stars Music Studio at 24519 Rolling Meadow Dr., Tomball, Texas 77375.
