Camps
Music day camps located in Tomball, Texas are held each summer. There is a music camp and a show choir camp for kids in grades 2 through 8. Camps offer a variety of opportunities including choir, general music, musicals, and drumming. Current offerings are listed below; to register please go to the Registration page. For questions please email us. Camp will include lots of fun activities in addition to our music. For those who like animals, we have several for you to meet and play with. You will also have an opportunity to do crafts.
2010 WAM Camps at Memorial Baptist Church
WAM will host a General Music Camp June 21-25 and "Life School Musical" Camp July 19-23, for kids just completing K-6. Hours are 9 to 2 (sack lunch). Cost is $50 and includes camp t-shirt. Kids entering grades 2 through 8 participate in general music classes that include singing, drumming, xylophones, movement, and other music activities. The classes will give a performance at the end of the week. Camp also includes recreation and crafts. Campers may elect to receive vocal instruction and solo opportunities during camp. Camp fee: $200 per camper, plus $20 registration fee due at time of sign-up to hold camper's place. Emphasis on choral training and performing with choreography, with solo opportunities. Available for girls and boys who will enter grades 2 through 8 in Fall 2009. Important Information
Camp Location and Times
Most day camps are located at 24519 Rolling Meadow Drive, Tomball, Texas. Map and driving directions can be found here. Camp is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mon.-Fri. Note: WAM camps are located at Memorial Baptist Church in Spring, Texas; dates and times vary so please go to their website for specific information.
What's Provided
1. Camp Tee shirt (be sure to list size on registration form).

What to Bring
1. Wear comfortable clothes -shorts and tee shirt.
2. Bring a sack lunch and two drinks.
3. Bring a swimsuit if you plan to get wet during recreation time.
First Day Info.
If you plan to walk your child in on the first day of camp, you must arrive between 8:15 and 8:45 AM. Earlier drop-off is by prior arrangement only. You may park in the grass off the circle drive (as long as it is dry); do not park in the circle. After 8:45 you should drop off campers in the circle. You are welcome to come into the Music room after 5:00 PM if you wish. If you haven't paid the camp fee of $200 please bring it on the first day. Checks should be made payable to Debbie Kinzel.
Carpooling
We compile school and subdivision information to assist you in locating others near you for possible carpooling. We will contact you before camp if an opportunity exists or you can check with us at the end of the first day.
Lunch and Snacks
Please bring a sack lunch and two
drinks each day. There will
be a morning and afternoon snack break, so you may include one or two snacks (the Camp provides one snack daily). Please avoid foods that require microwave or special preparation. Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle (pop-up top is best).
What to Wear
Daily wear will be a t-shirt, comfortable shorts, socks and tennis shoes. There is NO swimming in the pond, but those wanting to play on the water slide should bring a towel, swimsuit and/or a change of clothes. A gym bag or back-pack is recommended to keep your things together.
